A 30 year Kenner resident, Allison is invested in success of the City of Kenner and the Rivertown Mainstreet Historic District. Allison is a Communication Strategist and certified Project Management Professional by training and is actively involved with P-12 Education in the region and state. She is the Program Director of STEM Education and Manager of Research Strategic Operations at Ochsner Health System. Allison is also a member of the Board of Directors of Discovery Health Sciences Foundation (Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy) and CORE Element. Allison is a graduate of the Education Leadership Institute through Louisiana Stand for Children and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Mother’s Milk Bank of Louisiana, and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. Allison lives in Kenner with her husband and two beautiful children. In her spare time, she lends her voice to radio and tv commercials, and enjoys public speaking on leadership, communication, project execution and the importance of community investment in Education.

Jon Renaudin is a single parent to a beautiful teenage daughter named Rylee, who currently attends a Christian school. Jon and Rylee enjoy going hiking, visiting comic cons, and renaissance festivals. They now have four dogs and one cat adopted from the Jefferson Parish SPCA. Further, they enjoy volunteering with the SPCA.

Jon is an experienced business person with a demonstrated history of working in various industries, including nonprofits. He is currently in a wide array of enterprises that include large-scale manufacturing, wide-format printing, signs, weddings, receptions, catering, and real estate.

 Jon is currently on the Board of Directors for Bridge House and Grace House as well as the Kenner Main Street Association. He volunteers and donates to many other organizations such as the Volunteers of America, Habitat for Humanity, Pet Fest, and many more. Additionally, Jon has founded businesses with the sole purpose of helping the community.

Jon graduated from a highly prestigious international military boarding school in Pennsylvania.The family he developed at Valley Forge Military Academy and College has allowed him to have close friends in many countries around the world. Because of this, Jon loves to travel. And with those close friends, he gets a cultural learning experience that is beyond being a tourist.

Terrie Birkel, CDME

Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (JCVB)

Terrie is the director of marketing & communications with the Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (JCVB), a brand driven and destination leader marketing and selling Jefferson Parish.  Her career in the tourism & hospitality industry began in 1992 selling the destination to leisure, travel media, tour & travel, convention, conference and corporate groups. Terrie currently oversees the marketing, internal and external communications, and membership aspects of the JCVB.  She recently received designation as a Certified Destination Management Executive through the internationally recognized travel industry leader Destination Management Association International.  In addition to serving on the Rivertown Main Street Executive Board Terrie serves as a member of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, the Southeast Tourism Society, Destination Marketing Association International, the North American Travel Journalist Association, Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, where she serves on the Communications Advisory Committee. Terrie resides in Kenner with her husband, Tony and daughter, Ashley.

Annalisa is the City of Kenner’s Economic Development Specialist through the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO). She works with both existing and prospective Kenner businesses with financing, tax incentive guidance, demographics, and issue resolution. She also works with the City administration on larger municipal projects such as the Airport redevelopment, Airport buyout properties, and Laketown development.  Prior to JEDCO she worked at the State of Louisiana’s Office of Community Development Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and Rebuilding Together New Orleans. She serves as Community Engagement Chair for the non-profit Friends of Lafitte Greenway.
