The Rivertown Arts Council was appointed in 2015 to work in partnership with the City of Kenner, community groups, local, state, and national governmental agencies to meet the arts and cultural needs of the Kenner community.  The Arts Council raises awareness of local artists through events like the Rivertown Art After Dark series (every 3rd Saturday of the month), an art auction at Rivertown Main Street's Annual Jazz Brunch, and a revolving mural display in the Rivertown Arts Council Community Courtyard.  This public art courtyard is open free and is located at 409 Williams Boulevard.
