For more than 20 years, Kenner's Rivertown has hosted a Lundi Gras event to help celebrate carnival-Kenner style!  Each year on the Monday before Mardi Gras, Rivertown's Main Street is flooded with festive revelers for a day long music concert, second line parade and more.  In addition to outdoor food and craft vendors, Lundi Gras also features a meeting of the courts of two of the largest carnival krewes in the area.  A reception is held for the King and Queen of Zulu and the King and Queen of Argus.  After toasts are exchanged, the royalty parades through the district in flamboyant fashion with a marching band, dance team and beads galore!

Traditionally held in February or early March, this event is held in the 400 block of Williams Boulevard in the heart of the Rivertown historic district.  Admission and parking are free.
